I have been fortunate to have lived the “trout bum” lifestyle. Not only has fly fishing been my career, but also has consumed a good majority of my leisure time. I have dedicated a great part of my life to prospecting the waters of Oregon and beyond, in search of the next fish willing to take an artificial fly.

Growing up in Redmond, OR, the Deschutes River was at my finger tips. It is where my passion for fly fishing and the outdoors grew to an obsession. It is where I learned the intricacies of trout and steelhead fishing, as well as refined my techniques, patience and instruction methods.

I now live in Prineville, OR with my wife Sarah, our daughters Brydget and Mabel, and our dog Rose. I have worked for Cascade Guides and Outfitters since 2007 and am grateful to have worked with such a great crew. I learned so much there through experiences and being surrounded by so many unique talented anglers

So, it is with great pride and honor that I am hosting guided fly fishing tours under the towering canyon walls of the Lower Deschutes River.
